FAQ
What’s the parking situation?
Parking for 53 cars, including 50 gravel parking spots and 3 paved handicap spots. There is overflow parking in the front of the farm.
Climate controlled?
The inside of the barn has central heat and air, but the ceremony will be outside weather permitting, with the reception being inside. The ceremony will be outside and the patio is not shaded.
How is the accessibility?
The venue is accessible by wide main roads. The roads getting to the venue are a bit snug, but nothing steep.
Cell phone service?
There is very minimal cell service at the venue, and no WiFi. We would love to have an unplugged ceremony so this is perfect to enjoy the evening with us!
Outside alcohol?
Unfortunately, no outside alcohol will be permitted on the property. No pregaming in the parking lot ya’ll. We will have a licensed and insured bartender present for the reception in accordance with the venue and state regulations.
Bar choices?

Smoking?
Please only smoke in the specified area which will be outside and labeled appropriately. Please don’t leave cigarette butts anywhere other than the specified receptacle, even the parking lot. If you need to leave them in the truck or the car, please do so. This includes vaping.
Are kids welcome?
If your invitation had “family” on the address, the kids are welcome to come. If you have any concerns please reach out to Sherrill Beahm.
What is the start time?
Unlike our normal fashion, Christen will be walking down the aisle to John promptly at 4 PM. Please have your seat selected by 3:50 PM.
Food allergies?
We selected menu items that should be suitable for everyone, and offer a variety while still providing a filling dinner. If there are severe dietary restrictions we do ask that you plan accordingly.
Registry?
We’ve been mindful of items added as we already do have quite a few kitchen appliances. We do ask if you prefer to write a check, please address it to either Christen Beahm or John Platt as we have not combined an account yet. We do not expect gifts, only your presence. If you are unable to make it to Tennessee to celebrate with us, but would like to send something please send it to; PO Box 67 Bowdon GA 30108. Please do not feel obligated as we were very selective with our guest list and really wanted to celebrate with our families and friends that we were able to include.
